Terms & Conditions
Last updated 2 September 2026
These terms explain how we work together. We'll always talk through anything that affects your booking before it starts, and your written booking confirmation contains the specific arrangements for your pet.
Who we are
These terms apply to services provided by Cam's Dog Club (“we”, “us”), based in Soham, Cambridgeshire. You can contact us at hello@camsdogclub.co.uk.
Your individual booking confirmation sets out the specific services, days, prices and any arrangements agreed for your pet. Where the booking confirmation and these terms differ, the booking confirmation applies.
Bookings
Bookings are confirmed in writing (usually by email or message). Regular weekly bookings continue until you tell us you'd like to change or end them.
Notice periods and any charges for cancelled or missed sessions, holidays and absences are set out in your booking confirmation and explained before your first session.
Assessments and suitability
All dogs are assessed before joining group walks, and we continue to manage groups on an ongoing basis. We reserve the right to decline, pause or end a booking where a dog is not suited to group work, or where continuing would put any dog, person or team member at risk. Where possible we will suggest an alternative service.
Your responsibilities
To keep every pet in our care safe, please:
- Give us accurate, up-to-date information about your pet's health, behaviour, medication and any previous incidents.
- Tell us promptly about any illness, injury, change in behaviour, or if your dog comes into season.
- Keep vaccinations and parasite (flea, tick and worm) treatment up to date, and share evidence if we ask for it.
- Provide a well-fitting collar or harness and an ID tag as required by law, and let us know about any equipment your pet needs.
Health, illness and dogs in season
Dogs showing signs of contagious illness cannot attend group sessions until recovered. Dogs in season cannot attend group walks; we will talk through alternatives such as solo visits.
If your pet needs veterinary attention while in our care, we will contact you straight away. If we cannot reach you, you authorise us to seek veterinary treatment on your behalf where we reasonably believe it is needed. Veterinary costs remain your responsibility.
Keys, access and transport
Where we hold keys for collections or visits, they are stored securely without identifying address details. Please tell us about alarms or access arrangements in advance.
Dogs are transported in professionally crated dog vans, each in their own secure space.
Weather and outdoor activity
Sessions take place outdoors. We adjust timing, duration and activity in hot, cold or severe weather with your dog's welfare as the priority, and will tell you if a session needs to change. Outdoor group activity carries an inherent level of risk which we manage carefully but cannot remove entirely.
Training and behaviour services
Training and behaviour support is reward-based and welfare-led. Progress depends on many factors, including consistency at home, so we do not guarantee specific outcomes. Where a behaviour concern could have a medical cause, we may ask you to consult your vet before or alongside coaching.
Support between sessions (for example WhatsApp support for programme clients) is intended to help you stay on track and is not an emergency or veterinary service.
Payment
Prices are shown on our Prices page and confirmed in your booking confirmation. Invoices state the payment method and the date payment is due. We may pause services where an invoice remains unpaid after the due date. We will give reasonable notice of any price changes.
Insurance and liability
We hold business insurance for the services we provide; details are available on request. We take every reasonable care of your pet and property. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Photos and social media
We love sharing what the dogs get up to. Let us know when you join if you would prefer your pet not to appear in our photos or on social media, and we will respect that at all times.
Ending a booking, complaints and law
Either of us may end a regular booking by giving the notice set out in your booking confirmation. If something isn't right, please tell us as soon as possible so we can put it right.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
